I'm Getting Old

Here's another post from last year. I celebrated my birthday in Hong Kong with my best friend. Aside from shopping, I thought of celebrating my birthday at the happiest place on earth - Disneyland! I'll be celebrating my birthday a few days from now. How time flies. I'm already old. lol! Seriously, gone are the days when I can enjoy and not think about anything.

Styling Talk

Almost a year ago, I had the opportunity to share my thoughts on fashion with the Victory Fort worship team. It was actually months and months of planning with the whole group of SoFA alumni and students. The Styling Talk was divided into three parts — fashion combo basics, on-stage and performance make-up. Basically, I got to discuss the fashion do’s and don’ts on stage. These were the things I learned back when I was still active in the performing arts. My 2016 Capsule Wardrobe

I am slowly adding content here on the blog from my previous site(s). Yes, with an "S" because I get to switch web hosting sites. Hopefully this will be the last one as I would love this to be my last site so I could move forward with my brand.  Anyway, I have fallen in love with neutral colours a couple of years ago and I tried to put together my go-to outfits of my personal style. I got hooked with the idea of having a capsule wardrobe in my closet. Farewell, Kuya Tom!

It has been a sad and painful week for my family. My grandfather, Tom, passed away last Friday due to cardiac arrest. He was 91. A lot of people attended his wake and funeral and we were overwhelmed with the amount of love they showed and shared with us.  Kuya Tom, as we fondly called him, will always be remembered for his generosity. He started his business at the age of 60 and provided well for our family. He lived by the words "The more you share, the more you prosper" and is evident in all his works and deeds to us and everyone he meets. I love you, Kuya Tom. Until we meet again!

Hello from Chubbly!

Hi guys! Allow me to formally introduce myself - I'm Chami Viray, founder and Creative Director of this fun and spontaneous RTW brand, Chubbly! I first started Chubbly as my thesis project back in college while I was studying Fashion Design and Marketing at SoFA Design Institute. It was the year 2011 that I pitched my idea and by 2012, I was joining local bazaars and have been part of Rockwell's Retail Lab. Unfortunately, the brand was on and off for about five (5) years because aside from this I also have another 24/7 job and that is being actively involved in the family business. So finally, about a year ago, I have decided to put Chubbly on hold and was...
